"We have purchased cattle from the DeBoos since 1993. It has always been a positive and rewarding experience. It's difficult to say all you, your family and of course your cattle have done to improve our herd. The two oldest cows in our herd are 14 and 15 yrs.old. These old girls are still producing! They both came from one of our earliest purchases at Diamond D Angus. Through the Diamond D genetics our cattle herd exhibits the positive and consistent traits that keep Black Angus on top of the game."      Denny and Nancy Deobald - Mt Margaret Angus - ID

"Just wanted to write you a short note to tell you about the three bulls which we have purchased in your last two sales. They have been by far the easiest fleshing and best disposition bulls, with great feet and legs, we have ever bought. They came to us in excellent condition. We were getting discouraged buying yearling bulls that fell apart and that needed a lot of extra care. Your bulls have excelled on what our ranch provides which is grass and hay. The first year we purchased 32B sight unseen. He is just like you said he would be! After seeing 32 B we decided to try 21X and 20Y in our A.I program. The calves from these two sire groups were very uniform and with above average weaning weights. We bred 35 heifers to 21X and all went unassisted in calving with the cows in a big hill pasture. It is nice to find a Bull Source that works on the real traits that make a cowman profit. Looking forward to seeing you in 2004."                                Rick Calvo - NE

"Mark, the two Diamond D Angus bulls we purchased last spring have just blended in perfectly. They were everything I expected and more. These two bulls had a long row to hoe. We have been in a drought since 1996 and 2003 has been the driest since it began. The Diamond D bulls have handled it well. They have kept their flesh and put on pounds to boot, plus they have the best disposition you will find in a set of Cattle! I look forward to the calves out of them.

My hat is off to you for the good Angus cattle you raise and the program you have behind them. See you next year. Thanks again!"

"Much like many commercial cow/ calf producers we got caught in the large-framed and excessive growth Angus cattle. The combination of extreme birth weight, milk, growth and frame had a direct impact on our break-even cost. With this type of cattle we had lost the true characteristics that had made the Angus breed such a popular range cow. Realizing the need to improve cow efficiency and to put back the essential traits a range cow requires in our environment led us to Diamond D Angus. As seed-stock producers they have not deviated from their original goal of what the Angus breed should look and produce like. Since infusing Diamond D genetics into our herd by A.I. and bull purchasing we can see dramatic improvement in the quality of our cattle. We found the 21X bull to be the best heifer bull we've ever used. His calves were born unassisted, grew well, and were extremely consistent. Diamond D cattle are moderate-framed, early maturing and have tremendous fleshing ability. They have bred-in traits that are overlooked in this industry such as udder quality, longevity and cow efficiency. Many breeders claim to have balanced-trait genetics, but Diamond D Angus can honestly stand behind that claim. It's nice to know that there is a seed-stock producer that is willing to look out for our interests instead of chasing fads. Thank you and keep up the good work".

Mark,
It sure was good to see the DeBoo Angus cow herd again. I like what I see! 21X has left some beautiful daughters as well as OCC Emblazon. What a great compliment to Fahren genetics. To see that much maternal, function and pounds in an extremely moderate package is almost unbelievable. 27C and 28C will make a great contribution.
