| He
was the result of and embryo from our great old 368 cow. She stayed
in the herd untill she was 22 years-old. Most of the main stream
genetics today have strictly been bred for numbers. We feel the first
thing which you loose when you breed cattle like that is longevity.
In another words the functional type traits were traded for growth,
performance, and carcass. Here at Diamond D Angus we have never chased
numbers but we have always stayed the course and bred functional-efficient
cattle. E2B daughters are now doing a great job. |
